with these eyes I watch the world
see blue skies with white clouds curled
with these ears I hear this song
to wipe away fears for I belong

but all the things that make a difference
you cannot see or feel
though they offer no resistance

they are sometimes more real
when the world we see without
which we feel so much a part
if that world makes you doubt

use the inner vision of your heart

with my nose I smell a flower
and the scent that flows knows not the hour

with my hand I touch the earth
and then understand it's gentle mirth

with my tongue I taste my food
and I'm eternally young aging I elude

all these senses help with what I do
but sometimes they are defences from seeing what is true
